Received this letter in the mail today after entering Luci in the 2008 Cutest Pet Photo Contest:
"Good News! The judges have compared the other photo entries to yours and have unanimously selected your photo entry as a semi-finalist! Your photo has advanced to the final round of judging for the grand prize of $1000.00. To commemorate the amazingly cute moment you've captured on fil, our judges have hand picked your photo for inclusion in our next "Cutest Pets Around the Globe Photo Book. Of the thousands of photos we receive each year, only a small percentage are selected for printing in our books so this is truly a special event."
Luci was treated to a tuna and steak buffet, of the canned kind.
I dont think she truly appreciates the situation, but she is available for personalized signings of her new book...at a minimal fee that is :)

oh i won too once... kind of it's just a scam they tell everyone they won so they can use your picture in their book and then try to sell you the book and then email you saying that they want you to pay 700 dollars to get some award or something
