Munch for the Bunch

Posted by Heather

Being a cat lady, I have a close network of other cat ladies and we often gossip about foods that we feed out cats. I highly recommend the food that I feed ours. After trying many different things, we have finally gotten a routine down. Check it out.

FYI: I personally think if its a good cat food, chances are its a good dog food (for all my dog loving/owning friends reading this)

This is their daily food. At one time, although not this exact kind, there was a recall with this manufacturer. It scared me off for a bit but now Im back. My cats love this food, its inexpensive for a high quality food, and its one of the best Ive been able to find at local stores (Petsmart). FYI my cats get 2 scoops a day, divided into 3 bowls.

This is their nighttime food. I absolutely could not rave more about how much I love this food. The cats literally come running for it and its the best food Ive found as far as quality. You have to order it online or by phone but it gets delivered to your doorstep which is mighty easy. Only thing is, its expensive. If it were not for that little issue I would feed this to my cats only. However I had to throw in the Natural Balance to offset the cost of things. Its expensive to feed 3 cats! FYI, my cats get 2 scoops at night, divided into 3 bowls.

And of course Siamon, the baby, still gets some wet food at night. He loves to meow at my feet starting at around 10pm because he knows it is coming. Of course I give the other two a little spoonful too so they arent left out. I believe a combination of wet and dry is the best way to go for the best health of you cat. I like Nutro, although I wish they made a kitten formula with beef as the oceanfish one makes my house smell fishy.
Ok so thats it. I apologize for bringing out the cat lady side of me, but I often get asked what I think of different foods and Im bored so I thought I would blog about it. Hey, its important to feed your children the right foods, even if they are of the feline/canine/equine/bovine/whatever variety.
