Friday night met up with two friends of mine from college. It was such an awesome reunion. We went to a lounge called The View which offers, like its name says, a rotating view of Manhattan from the 48th floor of the Marriott Hotel in Times Square. It was so fun to catch up with my girlfriends and learn about the cards life has dealt us since college. Jorida, a biomedical engineering student, is now working in medical research at Columbia University while attending a part time masters program there as well. She hopes to attend medical school in the near future to specialize in radiology. Emily, also a premedical student like me, is now in her last year of Podiatry school and plans on following up with a degree in Physical Therapy as she hopes to go into sports medicine. It had been 1.5 years since I've seen Jorida and over 2.5 years since I've seen Emily. Hopefully we can set time apart in our busy schedules to meet up more often.
