Got up painfully at 5am on Wednesday to begin the drive to California. Lucky for me, my dad is a space genius and was able to get all my furniture into the truck. We then tied it down and hit the I-10 west straight to Irvine. We had to stop a couple times to check to make sure the bed wasn't leaving us, but otherwise the drive was fairly quick and we had a fun couple days in California.

After a LONG day of unpacking and getting stuff set up, dad and I hit the beach for some tacos at Taco Surf (probably the BEST tacos north of the border there is)

Back in AZ waiting until Sunday where I will make the final part of my trip and settle into SoCal living.

first of all, TOTALLY impressed with your dad's packing skills! i love the close up of the "back seat" of the truck. very impressive.
secondly, you have a GRANITE counter in your dorm room! a DORM room!!!! nobody in new york would ever see anything like that, esp in Aron Hall... very nice.
and i love the HUGE windows in your room... can't wait to visit the kitties and see your new place once you're all settled in.
