Since everyone is doing it, I thought I would open my big mouth too.
20 things about me:
1. I often read multiple books at once. I guess I get bored easily or have a mild case of ADD. At the moment I am reading "A Short History of Nearly Everything", "El Zahir", "Animal Liberation", "My Antonia", "Sophie's World", "The Heartbreaking Work of a Staggering Genious" and plan on starting "The Worlds Religions" this weekend. Fascinating life I lead.
2. I listen to country music when Im alone. Most of my friends would gag at the idea of country music, but for me it brings back memories and reminds me of my roots. Ive even been known to busting out a low-down while I'm trying to get jiggy with it.
3. Im obsessed with hummus. I really think hummus is one of the best creations ever created by man, or god, or whoever you claim. All I know is I love the stuff. I eat it with pita, crackers, potatoes, veggis, even by the spoonful. I also love to eat crackers since I'm on a "what I love to eat" kick. When I was young my grandme had to keep boxes of saltine crackers in her house because I would come home from school, pop on some cartoons, and devour a whole sleeve of crackers. yum.
4. My third grade teacher used to negotiate grades with feet and back massages. I know, this all sounds really gross and I'm not quite sure how us children went for this, but it was the cool thing to do to massage my 3rd grade teacher during story time (not in a sick way your sickos). While Im thinking of third grade, we also used to get rewarded at the end of the week if we had our weekly "ice cream cone" still up. See the way this worked is at the beginning of the week you started out with a fresh cardboard ice cream cone consisting of 2 scoops and a cone. Anytime you misbehaved, one of the 3 were taken down until there were none left. The kids who had their ice cream cones still in tact were able to participate in the Friday game. I never was able to participate. I think my teacher had it out for me becuase I refused to massage her feet.
5. I used to keep a small biblical figurine that I found somewhere under my pillow around the age of 10. I thought it would protect me from evil. I was a really weird kid.
5. I am freakishly methodical by nature. Seriously, I work in patterns and all that know me well can see what my patterns are. Whether its the way I get dressed, brushing my teeth, my nightly rituals, whatever it is its always in a planned out and methodical way in order to keep consistancy and ease in my life. I even insist of taking the same route to work everyday and when I mix things up by walking with someone else, it really throws me off.
6. I have a serious hatred for people who wear fur. When I see a fur wearer it really upsets my entire day and I visualize mean and cruel things happening to them. This is really sick I know but lets be honest here, I love animals more than I love people and thats just the plain truth.
7. Any serious emotion I have, be it anger or laughter, any passion of my life can be visualized by the color of my skin.
8. At one point in my life I really wanted to be a pro football player (I was around the age of 5). My uncle told me that girls should not play football so I was very disappointed and learned at a very early age what the pain of losing a dream feels like. Now days to make things interesting I often tell white lies about my career to stangers I meet. Some of the careers I have used are: culinary arts student, professional dog walker, comic strip cartoonist, and professional food taster.
9. I have a fear of pool drains. When I was younger my mom told me that I could get my hair stuck in them and drown (I had really long hair when I was young). Ever since then, I am afraid to swim by them. I think drowning would be the worst way to die.
10. I can trace my ancestory back to England, Scotland, Ireland, and France but have no freakin' idea where the Swesey name came from.
11. Ive had many jobs in my young age and they are as follows: karate children's instructor, office max sales associate, park recreationalist I (i drove the train at the railroad park), harkins movie theater popcorn maker (seriously), 24 hour fitness childrens gym supervisor, gamestop associate, pharmaceutical technician, Cosi (similar to Starbucks) barista, and human genetics research assistant.
12. My mom is my best friend in the whole world, I tell her everything.
13. I am distant cousins with Winston Churchill (thats where they say my Mother's surname Church comes from)
14. I am obsessed with socks. Seriously I get a weird sense of satisfaction when it comes to shopping for socks. The weirder and more colorful the socks, the better. White socks are just plain old boring!
15. I absolutely hate tomatos but eat them in my sandwiches or with crackers and cheese.
16. I sleep with the fan blowing, even in the winter. This has been known to drive my grandpa nuts because he used to always think I was cold and shut the fan off resulting in a demon like "dont shut the fan off" from a grumpy me.
17. I can eat an entire pint of ice cream in one sitting and not feel bad for it at all.
18. When I was young, my sister had me convinced that cannibals lived on the mountain behind our house...I really believed her.
19. My oldest memory is of being in a car seat in the back of a car on a warm sunny day with lots of wind blowing through my hair and seeing my parents singing to loud music in the front seat. I think this memory must be from the age of about 2, since that was when my parents divorced. But I remember this.
20. In my life, I believe too many things are precious to go to waste. I try to look people in the eyes when I talk, even though I have a problem with this for some reason. I cherish every single one of my friends and all the times they make me smile. I love my family and my boyfriend with my whole heart. I am on a mission to help the world and its creatures with love. Its amazing what that can do.

I have so many comments to make on this one but the one that sticks out first is: I'm glad I didn't know that your 3rd grade teacher was asking her students to massage her feet! I can't find any reason why that's a cool thing to ask of your students! And...I do remember you never had your cones on your ice cream!
