Dear Heather,
We have reviewed your application to the PhD Program at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and are very impressed with your accomplishments. We are thus writing to invite you for interview. During your two-day interview visit, you will have an opportunity to learn about the PhD program and the Mount Sinai academic community. We will arrange for you to meet with a number of faculty members whose research interests match your own, as you identified on your PhD supplemental application.
We are now scheduling interviews for Tuesday/Wednesday, January 9/10, 2007.
The visit will begin on Tuesday late afternoon with an introduction regarding the PhD program given by the Dean of the Graduate School of Biological Sciences followed by a tour of our facilities, dinner with graduate students, and a seminar. On Wednesday morning after a continental breakfast you will be interviewed by one of our graduate students. Two interviews with Mount Sinai faculty members will follow. After lunch with faculty and PhD students there will be a third interview. The day will conclude with a wrap-up session with the Dean of the Graduate School of Biological Sciences until 3:00pm.

That is what it just may be all about. Besides the Hokie Pokey of course. Remember...on old-school 4-roller skates. Ahh those were the days. Bored as hell and nothing but time, wheely objects, and a great big paved hill.
Oh yah....the road rash was like none other in the country on those hot assfault streets.
